The last 30 days have been windless, we have had two short light wind sessions which were marginal. It has given us the opportunity to explore some other parts of the island and check out the mountains. The view from the top is amazing, however, it makes you realise how small Rarotonga really is as you can see the coast on either side. We were also lucky enough to get invited to the Te Mire Ura AKA The Cook Islands National Dancer of the Year competition. There were so many people that came to support and watch the different contenders. It was great to see how much they still backed their local traditions. We are now getting to the time where the trade winds should be kicking in, we are looking forward to getting some well needed riding in.
